When Mark opened his own office I was one of his first patients. I’ve been so satisfied with his work over the years that I’ve never entertained the thought of seeing another general practitioner. He is thorough, always explains everything very clearly, is always willing to answer my questions, has a great sense of humor and a very gentle touch, and has helped me improve the appearance and condition of my teeth with a more effective daily hygiene routine and regular preventive care. And if I should ever need to see a specialist, I know whoever he might recommend to me will be just as honest, conservative and professional as I have always found him to be.
On his recommendation, I started using the Phillips SoniCare electric toothbrush and flosser, which are absolutely the best dental appliances I’ve ever used. My teeth now feel clean every day, even months after my last visit, which is an experience that has more than justified the cost of purchasing these devices.
Over the years I’ve even had occasion to meet and get to know several colleagues of Mark’s at social events here and while traveling there, and they all speak very highly of his training, his experience, and his strict adherence to the ethics of his profession. If there are sharks or corner-cutters in dentistry, he is not one of them.
I’ve never needed any major dental work, and with the help of Mark and his staff, I expect to be able to continue saying that for the foreseeable future, and to keep all of my own teeth longer than anyone else in my family has so far.
Been a patient of Dr. Siegel’s for over 20 years and have only the highest praise for his work, staff, and ethics. Never trusted or enjoyed visiting a dentist before finding this unique individual. Have never been disappointed in his work which has included some serious repairs and will only trust his opinion in all dental matters.
Be prepared to listen as Dr. Siegel has lots to say but where in Encino can you find a dentist that validates parking?
I’ve been using Dr Siegel for over 15 years and would not consider EVER changing he’s THE BEST period! My brother asked me about 5 years ago who I go to and ended up going to another dentist. 4 years later I sent him to Dr Siegel and he had all the work replaced. If you want it done right the FIRST time this is the place. The office Staff is the BEST. It took me 10 years to find the Dentist and you could not pay me to go to another. All the equipment is the latest and most modern. Office is always clean. And the biggest question on everyone’s mind “PAIN” I will NEVER FEEL PAIN or Discomfort after all these years he always checks on you to make sure your ok. If you decide to go to any other Dentist it would be a mistake.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Siegel for my dental work for almost two decades now. I can still remember my very first visit; I had broken a tooth while playing basketball, and was in dire need of treatment. What impressed me then, and now, was how he and his staff treated me like I was more than just another paycheck walking through the door.
He always tells me what he is going to do before he does it; he never does work on me that I hadn’t asked for, and–medical necessity notwithstanding–he never makes me feel pressured or rushed into getting additional or follow-up work done. On the other hand, if I ever did need something big done, he was always frank with me about the severity of the case (he’s not one to over/underexaggerate), and would never fail to bring up every possible treatment option (even the less expensive ones) so that I could always be confident in knowing that I hadn’t been cheated of a fair choice and a fair deal.
Of the medical professionals I frequent, Dr. Siegel is one of the more talkative. He’s a good conversationalist. I feel comfortable talking about with him about what’s on my mind, and he seems comfortable listening to me. He’s also not afraid of telling me something for my own good. I remember I wanted him to replace some big silver fillings with white ones, but he told me that the fillings were simply too large and a better course of treatment was to do crowns or onlays, or simply to leave the fillings as they were until the time came that they needed replacement.
Bottom line: this is a guy who isn’t afraid to say “no” to you when you’re in the wrong. He won’t force you to get work done, and he won’t let you tell him how to do his job, because he’s knowledgeable enough at what he does to know how do it right the first time.
Really, of all my doctors, Dr. Siegel is the only one that I’d call a friend.
